Mini-Europe (official) · Bruparck, Heysel

Mini-Europe, the official ticket

Entry to the 1:25 miniature park at the foot of the Atomium, with the park's guidebook and the Spirit of Europe exhibition at the end. Book it here for one reason: the park's own website does not refund, while this same ticket cancels free up to a day before.

Mini-Europe Entry Ticket

About this experience

Mini-Europe has stood in Bruparck, below the Atomium, since 1989. The walk takes you past about 350 buildings from some 80 European cities, all at 1:25: a 4-metre Big Ben, a 13-metre Eiffel Tower, Venice's gondolas, the Acropolis and the gold-leafed guild houses of the Brussels Grand-Place. Buttons along the path set things moving. You can make Vesuvius erupt, launch the Ariane rocket and knock a hole in the Berlin Wall. The last stop is the Spirit of Europe, an indoor hall of games and quizzes about the EU member states.

This is the park's own ticket, listed on GetYourGuide by Mini-Europe itself. The money question is where to buy it. On minieurope.com an adult pays EUR 21.70 online (a dated ticket booked 48 hours ahead) or EUR 25 at the gate, and those tickets are non-refundable and can't be exchanged. Here it is about $24 and cancels free up to 24 hours before. For a trip planned weeks out, with Belgian weather, that flexibility is worth a euro or two. The one thing you lose is the park's code for up to 40% off a Belgian Rail return, which only comes with a ticket bought on its own site.

Three honest caveats. The park is all outdoors, so heavy rain spoils it and guests report exactly that. It shuts for the winter from 4 January to 12 March 2027, and from 1 October to 3 January it opens 10:00 to 18:00 with last entry an hour before closing (check the official hours). And the whole Heysel plateau is waiting on the NEO redevelopment; no closure has been announced, but the park's future is tied to it.

  • The Atomium towering over the whole park

Mini-Europe was a fantastic experience for our family! The miniature landmarks from across Europe are incredibly detailed and beautifully maintained. It was fun to see so many famous attractions in one place and take lots of great photos. The park is clean, well organized, and easy to walk around with children. We spent a few enjoyable hours exploring and learning about different countries. The staff were friendly, and everything was well presented. If you’re visiting Brussels, I highly recommend Mini-Europe. It’s a unique attraction that’s enjoyable for both kids and adults and definitely worth a visit.

Tips before you book

  • Measure small children before you buy. Under 115 cm they go in free and need no ticket.
  • Last entry is one hour before closing. In October to early January that means 17:00, and 16:00 on 24 and 31 December.
  • Check the forecast the day before. You can still cancel free up to 24 hours ahead, which the park's own tickets don't allow.
  • Pets, skateboards and skates are not allowed inside. Bring an ID, as the listing asks.
  • Plan two to three hours. Families who press every button and play the Spirit of Europe games take longer.
